Logs & Monitoring

Spicom uses a minimal and privacy-focused logging strategy designed to ensure platform stability without storing unnecessary or sensitive information.
All error tracking and performance monitoring are handled through Sentry.

What We Log

Spicom only logs information required for:
  • Error detection
  • Debugging unexpected crashes
  • Monitoring performance
  • Ensuring platform stability
We never log:
  • Contract names
  • Contract amounts
  • Customer details
  • Workforce names or salaries
  • Financial or business data
  • CSV content
No sensitive business or personal data appears in logs.

Sentry Monitoring

Spicom uses Sentry for:
  • Error tracking
  • Exception reporting
  • Performance monitoring
  • Slow API endpoint detection
  • Frontend and backend crash analytics
Sentry helps us deliver a stable product without exposing private data.

What Sentry receives:

  • Error type
  • Stack trace
  • Timestamp
  • Browser metadata (frontend)
  • Server operation context (backend)

What Sentry does not receive:

  • Emails
  • Customer names
  • Contract values
  • CSV data
  • Access tokens
  • HTTP-only cookies
  • Any financial data
All sensitive fields are sanitized before transmission.

Log Retention

Retention rules:
  • Logs are stored for a limited period
  • Old logs expire automatically
  • No long-term archival of user-related logs
  • Only operational logs remain accessible for the duration necessary to debug issues
Logs are automatically rotated to comply with GDPR minimization principles.

Access Control

Access to logs is strictly limited:
  • Only operational personnel can view Sentry dashboards
  • No developer has direct access to production databases
  • Access is logged and restricted using secure authentication
  • Privileged actions are monitored
Your data remains private even during debugging.

Error Notifications

When an error occurs:
  1. Sentry captures it
  2. Sensitive data is scrubbed
  3. Developers receive a notification
  4. A fix is deployed if required
This allows Spicom to remain responsive and stable.

User Privacy & GDPR

Spicom ensures all monitoring complies with GDPR:
  • No personal or financial data is logged
  • Data minimization: only technical metadata is collected
  • Logs cannot be tied back to business metrics
  • You may request deletion of logs associated with your account ID
This guarantees full adherence to European privacy standards.

Request Log Deletion

If you want logs associated with your user ID or account to be removed:
  • Contact support
  • Provide your account email
  • Specify your request
We delete your logs manually within a reasonable timeframe (typically under 24 hours).
